This summer, Recompence is offering Traditional Maine Lobster and Clam Bakes most Saturday evenings at 6:00 PM through Maine Shore Lobster Bakes, followed by a scenic haywagon ride!  Private lobster bakes are also available for weddings, family reunions and corporate events.

Held under a large tent at the Little River House (short walk from the campground office), these casual, fun events are a great way to enjoy fresh, sustainably-harvested Maine lobster and clams prepared traditionally. Fresh, local lobsters, clams, and corn are steamed on a bed of seaweed over an open fire creating a flavor medley unsurpassed by any other method. Not only is the taste amazing, but the process is fun and exciting to watch.

Not a fan of seafood? Enjoy a chicken, steak or veggie burger dinner instead.  We also serve kids meals (hamburger/hot dog)!
